Ruruaj was dismissed for a first ball duck in the first innings and his luck didn't change in the second one as well.

The Indian batting order would get another jolt as Abhimanyu Easwaran was also run-out soon after and the visitors found themselves in trouble in the 9th over.

However, Sai Sudharsan and Devdutt Padikkal steadied the innings and given India A the lead in the match with some resolute batting.

Mukesh Kumar picks up 6 wickets

India A’s pacer Mukesh Kumar tore through the Australia A batting lineup on Day 2 of the unofficial Test, leading the charge to bowl out the hosts for 195 runs. Resuming with the upper hand from Day 1, where Australia A had already lost four wickets, Mukesh carried on the momentum, delivering a remarkable spell that claimed six wickets for just 46 runs.

Mukesh’s onslaught dismantled Australia A’s middle order, removing key players at crucial moments. He dismissed the threatening Beau Webster (33), followed by a well-set Campbell Kellaway (37), then continued his impressive run by adding the scalps of Josh Phillippe and Brendan Doggett. His final blow came with the dismissal of Todd Murphy, wrapping up Australia A’s innings. Prasidh Krishna supported Mukesh’s efforts, finishing with three wickets, while Nitish Kumar Reddy chipped in with one.
