Rishabh Pant shared an emotional message on his social media handle on his coach's death anniversary. Tarak Sinha was Rishabh Pant's childhood coach who left for the heavenly abode three years ago. On his death anniversary, Pant paid his tribute to the veteran coach and said that his legacy continued to inspire and guide many cricketers. Sinha ran the Sonnet Cricket Club in Delhi and passed away on November 6 in 2021 due to lung cancer. It is worth noting that Sinha also coached

The time without him has stretched long, filled with memories of his wisdom, guidance, and the warmth he brought into our lives. His legacy continues to inspire and guide us. Thank you sir," Pant posted on his Instagram story with a picture of his childhood coach from the training ground.

Rishabh Pant rises in ICC Test rankings
Pant is currently gearing up for the upcoming Border Gavaskar Trophy series against Australia, which is set to begin from November 22 in Perth.
The star India wicketkeeper batter made a rapid rise in the ICC Test batting rankings after a stellar performance in the recently concluded three-match Test series vs New Zealand. Pant was the top scorer of the series with 261 runs from three matches at an average of 43.50 and a strike rate of 89.38 with three half centuries.
Following his stellar show, he has jumped five places to be on the sixth spot having 750 ratings to his name. Pant played a magnificent knock of 99 in the first Test in Bengaluru and further scored two half-centuries in the last Test in Mumbai registering scores of 60 and 64.
