New Zealand's hero in the Pune Test, Mitchell Santner, has been ruled out of the match in Mumbai due to injury. The visitors have decided to make 2 changes with Santner and Tim Southee going out of the side for Ish Sodhi and Matt Henry.
Santner was adjudged as the Player Of The Match in Pune as he picked up 13 wickets to wreck the Indian batting order and hand New Zealand a historic series win in India. New Zealand had won the toss in Mumbai and opted to bat first.

Tom Latham would confirm at the toss that Santner was struggling with a side strain and had been replaced by Sodhi for the match.
"Mitch Santner has got a little bit of a side strain. Ish Sodhi comes in. Matt Henry is fit and he comes in for Tim Southee," said Latham.
During the Pune Test, Santner was seen holding on to his side while bowling, but he would fight through the pain to take 6 wickets in the second innings as New Zealand won the match by 113 runs.
India would make one change on the day as Jasprit Bumrah was rested for the match and Mohammed Siraj returned to the lineup.
