Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti revealed his desire to continue with the club ahead of his 300th game with Los Blancos on September 25. The Italian manager, whose return to Real Madrid has been marked by tremendous success, believes his journey with the club is far from over.

Ancelotti initially managed Real Madrid from 2013 to 2015, and after returning in 2021, he delivered remarkable results. His 2022 UEFA Champions League and La Liga triumphs earned him a contract extension until 2026. He followed up those victories with another Champions League and La Liga double in 2023-2024, further solidifying his legacy.

"I'm not thinking about my future whatsoever, I love this job...I have been lucky enough to coach great clubs. Tomorrow will be my 300th game at the best club in the world. It is something special to be in this dugout, to do it 300 times is not quite a miracle, but it is almost a miracle," Ancelotti said.

"Sure, you can't compare my tiredness with that of the players. There is pressure, responsibility, but I love it. At the moment I don't see me having an expiry date, I'd love to stay here for many years to come," he added.

Previously, Ancelotti had revealed that his job at Real Madrid would be the last of his coaching career. This statement has led fans to speculate whether the 2026 expiry date of his contract will also mark the end of his iconic managerial journey. However, ahead of his milestone 300th match in charge, which will be against Alaves, Ancelotti expressed that he isn’t focused on the expiration of his contract and remains committed to extending Real Madrid's winning legacy.

Ancelotti currently holds the record for the most Champions League titles won as a manager, having claimed it twice with AC Milan in 2003 and 2007, and multiple times with Real Madrid. He is also the only coach to win league titles in Europe’s ‘Big Five’ competitions.

This season, Real Madrid are off to a strong start, securing the UEFA Super Cup and currently sitting second in the La Liga standings, just behind Barcelona.
