The Presidents Cup, a biannual competition between the best American and International male golfers, is one of the rare occasions that players wear one of two team uniforms. This year B. Draddy and Zero Restriction were tapped to provide both of those. But many professional golfers will tell you the connection to the ground is what they value the most, and even at team events players continue to determine the footwear of their choice. Whether clad in USA’s red, white and blue or the Internationals’ black and gold at this week’s event in Montreal, Nike has ensured its athletes will be on theme.

Two special editions of the Infinity Tour 2 have surfaced on the Nike website, each corresponding with the colors of the rival teams. The International version features gold accents set against a primarily black upper and finished off with a white midsole. Conversely, the USA version has a mostly grey appearance accented with hits of navy blue and red. Close observers will notice a few other differences that keep the two pairs from being a straight color swap though. The USA shoe has a silver metallic badge on the tongue, while the International version has a simple golden Swoosh. The design of the insoles also differs as USA’s reads “Nike” in a handwritten style.

A silhouette built for performance at the top level, the Infinity Tour 2 is outfitted with six integrated spikes underneath an Air Zoom unit that offers optimum energy return. The shoes come in sizes 7-15 and are priced each at $190 USD.
