AFCON 2025: Super Eagles break highly defending Libyans
by Ganiyu Mubarak · The Eagle OnlineThe Super Eagles of Nigeria on Friday broke the highly defending Mediterranean Knights of Libya in a 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
It was only one goal that separated the two teams in the qualifying match played at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
The Super Eagles have Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, who came from the bench, to thank for breaking the defence of the team from Libya, who obviously came all the way to Nigeria to play a defensive game.
