Election 2024: Candidates are making their final cases
To the relief of many, this election year is winding down and voters will have their say. With only hours remaining in the 2024 election year, Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are pitching rival agendas that each insist is what Americans want. Trump has four stops on Monday in North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Michigan. Ms. Harris plans to make her final pitch to voters in Pennsylvania as part of a full day in the state, where 19 electoral votes are up for grabs. She will start the day in Allentown before traveling to Pittsburgh. She will cap off the evening with a concert and rally in Philadelphia featuring Lady Gaga, The Roots and Ricky Martin. Oprah Winfrey will also take the stage in Philadelphia to boost Ms. Harris. Her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, will close out Monday in Detroit, hosting a concert by Jon Bon Jovi.
