A significant cyberattack has been detected at South East Technological University's Waterford campuses.

There is no evidence that any personal or other data has been breached as a result of the attack, the university said.

Monday's classes have been cancelled as a result, except laboratory classes, with the campus being left with no internet and access to other online facilities

The university said it will "continue to monitor the situation closely as investigations are ongoing"
