Sanjay Roy, the prime accused in the Kolkata rape and murder case, was arrested on August 10 by the Kolkata Police. On the orders of the High Court, the CBI had took over the case from Kolkata Police.

CBI filed a charge sheet against prime accused, Sanjay Roy, in rape & murder of a trainee doctor at R G Kar Medical College in Kolkata.
