The attack comes days after five labourers and a doctor were killed in a terrorist attack in Ganderbal.

The situation in the area is under control, said police. 

Officials reported that the explosion occurred in the afternoon, prompting an immediate response from law enforcement. The injured policeman was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The vehicle that was attacked belonged to the 18 Rashtriya Rifles. The attack took place near the Nagin Post area of Botapathar in Gulmarg, which is located close to the Line of Control (LoC).

They said the terrorists opened fire on the vehicle at Botapathri near Nagin post.
