Traffic delays on A1 and more after motorcyclist dies in M25 crash
by Lucia Botfield · MetroThere are severe traffic delays on the A1M due to an electrical issue affecting Hatfield Tunnel.
The A1M is closed northbound between junction 3 and 4 and southbound between junction 4 and 2 due to an electrical issue affecting Hatfield Tunnel.
In London, the Underground will be hit by planned closures this weekend as engineering work is carried out.
The District line will be partly closed between Turnham Green to Richmond, while the Metropolitan Line will be close completely.
The Piccadilly line will also see closures from South Harrow to Uxbridge, and the DLR will be partly shut at Bank and Tower Gateway to Poplar and West India Quay.
It follows a crash on the M25 near junction 6 for Clacket Lane services yesterday, where a motorcyclist died. A lorry thought to have been involved drove away from the scene, and police want to speak to the driver.

There are planned closures across the board this weekend, with thousands of journeys expected to be affected.
The District, DLR, Overground, Metropolitan, Piccadilly and Waterloo and City lines are all facing planned or part closures.
The rest of the line – and the rest of the Tube network – currently has good service.
