At least 16 Palestinians killed in Israeli strike on Gaza hospital

At least 125 Palestinians have been killed in recent attacks until Wednesday evening.

Gaza: At least 16 Palestinians, including women and children, were killed on Wednesday, October 9, in an Israeli airstrike targeting Al-Yemen Al-Saeed Hospital in Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip.

Director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, Hussam Abu Safiya, told Anadolu Agency that the tents set up outside the hospital were targeted.

For the fourth day, the Israeli army has launched a ground attack on the northern Gaza, focusing on the Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahia areas, particularly the Jabalia camp, to remove its residents.

On Sunday, October 6, Israeli army launches ground military operation in Jabalia to prevent Hamas from regaining strength, following violent attack on northern Gaza Strip, including Jabalia, since May.

The government media office reports that 125 Palestinians have been killed in recent attacks until Wednesday evening.

On Tuesday, October 8, the Israeli army ordered the evacuation of patients and staff at Kamal Adwan Hospital, the Indonesian Hospital, and Al-Awda Hospital, the enclave’s Health Ministry said.

Israel continues its offensive on Gaza following Hamas‘ attack on October 7, 2023, despite a UN Security Council resolution urging for an immediate cease-fire.

Nearly 42,000 individuals, primarily women and children, have been killed and nearly 97,600 injured since the incident.
