Brits in USA offered emergency flights home after Donald Trump victory

A package holiday company is giving British holidaymakers a chance to escape the USA today, with Donald Trump set to become the next president. On the Beach, which offers holidays to New York, Las Vegas, Florida, New Orleans and San Francisco, currently has hundreds of holidaymakers in the states, but is offering them a get out of the USA free card should they want it.

With Trump claiming victory, the holiday company is offering holidaymakers the chance to book a flight home today and escape ‘Trump’s America’ before it officially starts. Zoe Harris, chief customer officer at On the Beach said: “Trump has all but claimed victory and we know that for some of our customers, making ‘America great again’ just isn’t on their holiday itinerary.

“If they feel that strongly about the result then we’re offering them a chance to change their flights and come home today.”

For those On the Beach customers wanting to come home early, they are urged to contact On the Beach’s helpful advisors as soon as possible so they can help change their flights home. Despite offering a change in flight home for some escapees, On the Beach is also bracing themselves for a step up in bookings.

On the Beach has also slashed the cost of holidays in the USA, offering a week in the USA with flights for under £750 during the presidential inauguration.
