Another candidate will be eliminated later today, with the result due to be announced at 3.30pm.

Shadow security Minister Tom Tugendhat was seen as being from the more moderate wing of the Conservative party.

He received 20 votes yesterday.

Based on yesterday's voting, the Shadow Home Secretary James Cleverly is in the lead after receiving 39 votes, followed by former Minister Robert Jenrick with 31 votes and Shadow Business Secretary Kemi Badenoch receiving 30.

However, it is only MPs that have been voting so far. After today the wider party membership will have its say, with the winner set to be revealed on 2 November.
