After Sean 'Diddy' Combs was arrested and charged with sex trafficking, rumours started spreading about Kim Porter's untimely death.

The music mogul, 54, was arrested last week in New York and later charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, transportation and engaging in prostitution. The Bad Boy Records founder has pleaded not guilty to federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges.

Amid the case, there have been many claims about Diddy's ex-girlfriend Kim Porter and the circumstances of her death in 2018. Together, they had a son, Christian 'King' Combs, 26, and twin daughters D'Lila and Jessie, 17. Diddy also helped to raise Quincy, Porter's 33-year-old son from her previous relationship with singer-songwriter Al B. Sure!.

Quincy, Christian, D'Lila and Jessie released a statement shutting down rumours about their mother, saying: "We have seen so many hurtful and false rumours circulating about our parents, Kim Porter and Sean Combs ' relationship, as well as about our mom's tragic passing, that we feel the need to speak out." They denied their mother ever wrote a book and went on to describe their heartbreak when she passed away.

Porter died from pneumonia at her home in Toluca Lake on November 15 2018 after suffering from flu-like symptoms in the days before. Their statement shut down any conspiracy theories about her death, with them writing: "Our lives were shattered when we lost our mother. She was our world, and nothing has been the same since she passed. While it has been incredibly difficult to reconcile how she could be taken from us too soon, the cause of her death has long been established. There was no foul play. Grief is a lifelong process, and we ask that everyone respect our request for peace as we continue to cope with her loss every day."

It comes after Kim's Words: A Journey for Justice from the Other Side... was released posthumously on Amazon earlier this month shortly before Diddy, 54, was hauled off to jail. The 60-page book, which has been accused of being 'fake', accuses Diddy of assaulting her along with many other claims.

In one section of the book, in what is alleged to be Porter’s final entry, she writes about becoming ill and texting friends saying ‘he got me’ - allegedly referring to Diddy- before calling 911. Porter's ex-husband Al B. Sure! slammed the memoir as "fake" and called the book's authenticity into question.

He said the book sold on Amazon misrepresents his personal life, stating: "The original notes were distinct from the fabricated bulls*** and offensive pages circulated via Amazon which depict graphic sexual acts involving me that NEVER took place and were edited and added after Ms. Porter's tragic murder," referring to Chapter 5 of the so-called Amazon Best Seller, which falsely claims he had sexual encounters with Diddy.

In a follow-up post, Al B. Sure threatened legal action, saying: "There will be [a] significant suit headed right for the heads of the responsible parties who dragged my name into this bulls***."

The singer also reflected on his conversations with Kim Porter, sharing that they "talked right up to a few days prior to her demise" and noting she "was in good health" during their last interactions. Kim tragically passed away in 2018 at 47 years old due to pneumonia.
