Boris Johnson has finally addressed his relationship with "capable advisor" Baroness Charlotte Owen in the latest Diary of a CEO episode. The former prime minister was pressed by host Steven Bartlett on dozens of topics - including Brexit, Covid, lockdown parties and even the number of children he actually has.

Upon releasing his new book, Unleashed, Johnson sat down with the podcast host to discuss many of the topics he has included in his memoir. Following his time as prime minister, internet rumours regarding Johnson's former relationships have become a favourite for online sleuths.

Allegations surrounding his relationship with Baroness Charlotte Owen are often front and centre. Many claim that Ms Owen is a child of Johnson.

Meanwhile, others allege they have previously had a romantic relationship. Some speculate that this could explain why she was appointed a life peerage and inducted into the House of Lords at 30 years old.

Another mystery surrounding Johnson is the number of children he has. Some people believe he has never addressed this number.

At the end of the latest Diary of a CEO episode, Johnson finally speaks out on both. Steven said: "One of the things no one knows about you, is how many kids you have. Why is this such a widely debated subject?"

Johnson replied: "I don't know why it is widely debated, I have eight children. It is a matter of public record."

Quickly moving on, Steven said: "Charlotte Owen, you're not related to her are you? She's not a former lover?" Johnson quickly responded to both questions "no". Johnson added: "It is in the book, read all about it in the book. She is a very capable advisor."

At the end of the interview, in response to the question of whether he is anticipating a return to politics, Boris Johnson said he is enjoying his life in the countryside and would only return if he thought he could be useful.
