Woman's 'insane' daily cleaning schedule leaves people 'shattered just looking at it'

A woman has shared her daily cleaning schedule - and it's seriously hardcore.

The timetable, available for purchase on Etsy, outlines a rigorous list of chores for each day - bar Sunday - to keep the home spick and span. She posted the routine in the Clean, Declutter, Organise Your Home UK group on Facebook, where other members admitted they felt "shattered just looking at it".

According to the rota, Monday is 'bedroom day,' complete with changing bed linens, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing furniture. It also includes a 10-minute declutter session, plus wiping down mirrors and fans. Come Tuesday, it's 'bathroom day', which means scrubbing the shower, toilet, sink and mirror, mopping the floor, replenishing toiletries, and swapping out towels.

'Kitchen day' follows, demanding side cleaning, mopping, fridge decluttering and bin emptying. Thursday is all about sprucing up the living room, from dusting furniture and cleaning the TV to refreshing fabrics with Febreze and more decluttering. Friday's tasks change weekly; one week might involve cleaning all appliances, while another could see you wiping down walls and baseboards.

Weekends are filled with tasks such as cleaning the car and garage on Saturdays, while Sundays are reserved for rest, which some group members joke will be necessary after completing the extensive list. However, reactions to the list were mixed, with some expressing exhaustion at the mere sight of it.

One woman commented: "Is this from the '50s? No way is that going to happen in my house. I am worn out just looking at it." Others chimed in, saying: "None of that's on my list, I enjoy life too much and my home is clean what a load of rubbish," and "I'm shattered looking at that."

Some found the list unrealistic for those working full-time, but others were inspired, saying: "I joined this group because of this schedule!! I need some motivation and this might seem difficult but good to have something to aim for!!!" Another fan of the list printed it out, finding it helpful for delegating tasks while ill, and one person argued that the tasks could be completed in just 30 minutes a day - pointing out that they need to be done regardless.
