BBL procedure death sees TV star dubbed 'The Lip King' arrested after mum-of-five dies

by · Manchester Evening News

A beautician self-dubbed the 'Lip King' has been arrested in connection to the death of a mother of five after a botched butt lift procedure.

Jordan Parke was seen leaving his residence last evening while police delve deeper into the unanticipated demise of 33 year old Alice Webb. Two individuals have been interrogated and released on bail relating to the death of Alice. Parke, known for television appearances and his Instagram presence, commented: "I can't talk to anybody. I was arrested."

Seen later, Parke departed his home in Dudley riding in a Mercedes G Wagon with a vanity plate spelling out POUT. Gloucester, located 60 miles from Dudley, became the site of tragedy when Alice allegedly underwent what's referred to as a liquid BBL or Brazilian Butt Lift.

This non-invasive method involves injecting hyaluronic acid and dermal fillers into the buttocks. Marketed online for approximately £2,500 per session, the procedure takes an hour and is consistently flagged by experts for its serious risks, reports the Mirror.

At 34, Parke touts himself as "The Plastic Surgery Advocate" on social platforms but lacks medical credentials, offering beauty enhancements from various locations within the UK, including Gloucester. An ardent admirer of the Kardashians, he has invested over £130,000 in altering his own appearance and has contributed to ITV's This Morning and Channel 4's Bodyshockers, discussing his surgery fixation.

He has undergone at least four nose jobs and 50 other procedures, once remarking: "Plastic surgery is like sex. You can't have it once. You have to have it over and over."

Parke also featured on the US reality series Botched in 2015 but was turned down four years later when doctors cautioned that a further nose job would require part of his ribcage to be used to widen his nostrils.

As reported by the Mirror, Alice is the first British person to die following a liquid BBL procedure. It's alleged she received treatment at the Studio 23 clinic in Gloucester, which Parke co-owns.

Alice's devastated partner Dane Knight has been left to comfort their five daughters. He expressed his gratitude on Facebook, writing: "Want to say a heartfelt thank you to all family and friends that were here for us at our time of need, including all of the kind messages sent to my children and myself."

"There was some very beautiful messages sent by some of your children that formed a start of a smile from the corner of my kids mouth. Be extremely careful on what you say - my children are extremely vulnerable!"

Alice was a mother to five girls: Delsie, 15, Preete, 13, Gracie, 12, Nylie, 10, and Clarie, 7. The Studio 23 clinic, which had reportedly taken down its logo from the building, is located just a few miles from the family's home in Wotton-under-Edge.

Gloucestershire Police confirmed that two individuals have been released on bail. Alice tragically passed away at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital on Tuesday morning after a sudden illness.
