It was all creepy crafts and spooky stories for the free pop-up Hallowe’en fun day at Dumfries Museum – and the kids loved it.
The phantomtastic spooky season activity was a triumph for the hard-working museum staff who put so much into planning, preparing and then providing the fabulous free family events for Dumfries and Galloway's school holiday breaks.
In this one, children were encouraged to create artwork using Hallowe’en image printing blocks – which was a hit with even the little ones – and families had fun together listening to the spine-tingling tales, beautifully read by a storyteller.
However, the highlight had to be watching and having a go at brewing up some witch’s potions with colour changes, fizzes, and pops – making it a memorable day out.
