by · NottinghamshireLive

A number of road closures remain in place in Nottingham city centre after a woman died in a bus crash. A huge police cordon remains in place and Lower Parliament Street is closed after a woman in her thirties was treated at the scene but died a short time later.

The city's largest bus operator, Nottingham City Transport (NCT), told passengers to expert "severe delays" while investigations continue. Lower Parliament Street is closed between Milton Street and Glasshouse Street.

George Street is also closed while officers continue their investigation. NCT has now issued a full list of service changes/disruptions while the closures remain in place.

Trentbarton has also been contacted for information of any changes or disruptions. Follow our live blog for updates throughout the day as the investigation continues.
