IGP Kashmir V K Birdi arrives at Gagangeer terror attack site - Greater Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 20: The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Zone V K Birdi arrived at the site of the terror attack in Gagangeer, Ganderbal, where three laborers were killed and several others injured in a brutal terrorist assault.

The area has been cordoned off by security forces, and a search operation is underway, news agency KINS reported.

As per reports, among the injured, one laborer, from Waripora Safapora Ganderbal, is currently receiving treatment at SKIMS hospital.

Security officials are closely monitoring the situation, and more details on the incident are awaited.

Meanwhile, one of the National news channels reported that a doctor and five migrant workers were killed when terrorists opened fire at a construction site at Gagangir in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

The news channel quoting sources reported that the number of casualties could go up.
