Gulmarg attack: 1 more soldier succumbs, toll 5 - Greater Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 25: Another soldier has succumbed to injuries in the aftermath of deadly militant attack in Gulmarg, bringing the death toll to five, news agency KDC reported.

Two army soldiers and two porters died while another porter and a soldier were injured after militants attacked an army vehicle in Botpather area of Gulmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla on Thursday evening.

The officials said that army vehicle was heading for the Nagin pst in the Afrawat range.

Security measures in the area have been intensified, with investigations ongoing to nab those responsible for the attack.
