Old mortar shell found in J&K’s Samba - Greater Kashmir

Samba, Oct 06: An old mortar shell was found in Balole Nallah area of Brahmana in Samba district, officials said here on Sunday.

The officials said that locals found the shell and later alerted security agencies, which prompted them to rush to the scene.

They said that the police took the shell into custody for examination without causing any harm, reported news agency NVI.

Meanwhile, the police have taken cognizance of the incident and started an investigation.
