Traffic police urge food aggregators to follow rules

Over the course of the operation, vehicles were inspected, resulting in 145 cases registered against food delivery drivers for violating various traffic rules under the Indian Motor Vehicle Act of 1988. The operation aimed to ensure the safety of passengers and pedestrians alike, with officers urging food aggregators to adhere to traffic laws diligently.
Prohibition order for Kannada Language test: In a bid to ensure the smooth conduct of the mandatory Kannada language test for the direct recruitment of Village Administrative Officers, City Police Commissioner B Dayananda has issued a prohibition order effective from September 29. The order designates a 200-metre radius around all examination centres as prohibited area, restricting access to maintain order and security.
As per Order No. C.S.B. (Field)/Prohibition/Examination/32/2024, all photocopy shops in the vicinity are required to close starting from 7 am until the test concludes.
