The move comes after months of speculation regarding if the Grammy award-winning singer would formally endorse the Democratic nominee for president. We know Bey gave Harris the rights to use her song “Freedom” as Harris’ official campaign song months ago, but now, we finally know exactly where Beyoncé stands... and it’s right next to Harris!

Kamala Harris Launches Her Campaign for President

And with this Beyoncé rally appearance, she will join A-list celebrities like Taylor Swift and Eminem, who have all pledged support for Harris in recent weeks.

Beyoncé tends to keep her nose clean of politics, but she is no stranger to formal endorsements and surprise appearances. Back in 2016, Queen Bey endorsed then Democratic candidate Hilary Clinton for president. Before then, the “Halo” singer sang the national anthem at former President Barack Obama’s 2013 inauguration.

She made headlines in August when it was rumored that she would close out the Democratic National Convention in Chicago with a performance — keeping everyone glued to the television until the final credits rolled. It hasn’t been confirmed if Beyoncé will perform at the Houston rally, or if she’s simply set to speak to the audience.
