Prayers offered at Kamala Harris's village in Tamil Nadu for her win in US polls

Prayers were offered at Thulasendrapuram in Tamil Nadu, which is the ancenstral village of US Presidential candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris, for her victory.

The US election will be held on November 5, where the Vice President and former president Donald Trump as in a neck-to-neck contest.

As of Monday, over 78 million Americans had already cast their ballots, according to the University of Florida’s Election Lab, which monitors early and mail-in voting across the US. To secure victory in the 2024 election, a candidate must win 270 electoral college votes.
