This computer-based exam will be held via remote proctoring, allowing candidates to take it from a suitable, isolated location using their own laptop or desktop. Candidates must download the SEBLite Safe Exam Browser through a link provided to their registered email.
Participants should have their CSEET admit card and a government-issued ID (such as a Passport, Driver’s Licence, PAN Card, Aadhaar, or Voter ID) readily available for remote verification. Candidates must remain logged in for the entire duration of the test, as no breaks are permitted until submission. Any violation of test protocols will lead to disqualification or cancellation of results.
The exam lasts for two hours, covering four sections with multiple-choice questions, each worth 50 marks:
- Business Communication
- Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning
- Economic and Business Environment
- Current Affairs and Quantitative Aptitude
- Successfully passing the CSEET is a prerequisite for enrolling in the Executive Programme of the Company Secretary course.
IMPORTANT EXAM DAY GUIDELINES FOR CSEET
- Admit card: Print a copy of the CSEET admit card in advance
- Test environment: Ensure an isolated, quiet environment, free from distractions, and download SEBLite for exam security
- Required documents: Keep your CSEET admit card and one government-issued ID for identity verification
- Login timing: Log in 30 minutes before the exam starts to complete setup
- Device restrictions: Mobile phones, headphones, earphones, and other electronics are prohibited. No paper, books, or writing tools are allowed
- Room protocol: No one else should be present in the room during the test. Avoid actions like taking screenshots or reading questions aloud
- No breaks: No bio breaks are allowed until the test is submitted.

Candidates who fail to adhere to these guidelines risk disqualification. For familiarity with the system, ICSI conducted a mock test on November 6 and 7, and candidates can check their mock test results via their registered email.
