The video footage shows a man arriving on a motorbike. He dismounts, approaches the labourer sleeping outside the closed shop, inspects his face, and then begins striking him with a stick. The attack continued for several seconds, while bystanders in a nearby park watched without intervening.

The assault only stopped when a car approached the scene, prompting the attacker to flee.

The incident took place just steps away from a police booth, yet the miscreant carried out the attack without any fear of police intervention.
