Lemon risotto, Caprese salad: Here's the dinner menu at Biden-hosted Quad Summit

Several vegetarian dishes were served to PM Modi during the dinner, which was prepared by James Beard nominated Chef Antimo DiMeo, Executive Chef of the Bardea Restaurant Group of Wilmington, Delaware.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a three-day visit to the US where he's attending the Quad Leaders' Summit being hosted by outgoing US President Joe Biden in his hometown of Wilmington, Delaware.

He reached the US on Saturday and was hosted by Joe Biden for an "intimate" dinner with plenty of options available on the menu, including an array of vegetarian dishes.

The dinner was prepared by James Beard nominated Chef Antimo DiMeo, Executive Chef of the Bardea Restaurant Group of Wilmington, Delaware.

Here's a look at the dishes that were served to global leaders at US President Joe Biden's former high school city:

Caprese Salad: Mozzarella di Bufala, Scarlet Red Baby Tomato, Basil, Sicilian Oregano

Vegetarian dinner option: Root Vegetable Pave, Lemon Risotto, Pistachio, Black Lime

Non-vegetarian dinner option: Wagyu Strip Steak, Lemon Risotto, Pistachio, Black Lime

Pescatarian Dinner Option: Red Snapper, Lemon Risotto, Pistachio, Black Lime

Gelato Trio: Vanilla Bean, Chocolate, Pistachio, Cocoa Crumble, Pizzelle

Wines: Schramsberg, 'Blanc de Blancs', North Coast, California Model Farm, 'Wildcat Mountain', Chardonnay, Sonoma County, California O'Shaughnessy, Cabernet Sauvignon, Howell Mountain, Napa Valley, California

PM Modi, while speaking at the Quad Summit, highlighted the importance of the Quad alliance, saying it was "not against anyone" but an alliance which supported "rules-based international order, respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity, and peaceful resolution of all issues".

"Free, open, inclusive and prosperous Indo-Pacific is our shared priority and shared commitment," PM Modi said.

The Quad Summit was the last major event of Joe Biden's Presidency as he bowed out of the November 5 elections. India will host the next Quad Summit in 2025.

PM Modi also held bilateral talks with Japanese PM Fumio Kishida and Australian PM Anthony Albanese on the sidelines of the Quad Summit.

Notably, PM Modi left Wilmington after the Quad Summit. He left for New York where he will address 'Summit of the Future' at the UN General Assembly, interact with members of the Indian diaspora and meet American tech business leaders.
