The State Bank of India, SBI, is expected to release the Probationary Officers (PO) 2024 notification on its official career portal - sbi.co.in/web/careers/. In 2023, the notification was issued on September 6, with the application process beginning the next day, on September 7.

The SBI PO salary includes various additional benefits for all employees. Currently, the basic pay for an SBI PO is Rs 41,960/- (with 4 advance increments) on the pay scale of 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840, applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants for the SBI PO must possess a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification accepted by the central government.

AGE LIMIT CRITERIA

Candidates must be at least 21 years old and not older than 30 years as of the specified cut-off date, which will be mentioned in the notification. Age relaxation will be applicable for candidates from reserved categories.
