by India Today Education Desk · India TodayThe Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released IBPS SO Admit Card 2024 on the official IBPS website, ibps.in, for the upcoming exam on November 11, 2024. Candidates registered for the Specialist Officer (SO) recruitment exam are required to download their admit cards online.
IBPS released the SO admit cards on October 31, allowing candidates to access and print them in preparation for the preliminary exam. The recruitment drive will fill upto 896 SO vacancies within the organisation.
STEPS TO DOWNLOAD IBPS SO ADMIT CARD 2024
- Visit the official IBPS website
- Click on the link for the SO admit card on the homepage
- Enter your application number and date of birth
- Your admit card will be displayed
- Download it and take a printout for future reference.
Candidates should note that IBPS SO Admit Cards will be available for download until November 9, 2024, with the Preliminary Exam set for the same date. To be admitted to the exam, candidates must bring their admit card and a valid photo ID (such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, or passport).
The IBPS SO Prelims exam will be conducted online over a 2-hour period, consisting of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). This preliminary phase is qualifying in nature, and candidates who pass will advance to the Main Examination.

SELECTION PROCESS
The selection process for IBPS Specialist Officers includes three stages: an online Preliminary Examination, an online Main Examination, and a Common Interview.
Online preliminary exam: Candidates must qualify in this stage to be considered for the Main Examination
Online main exam: Successful candidates from the Prelims will proceed to the Main Examination
Common interview: Those who clear the Main Exam will be invited to a Common Interview, coordinated by the Nodal Bank and conducted by Participating Banks.
