Multiple videos of people stealing donations from a temple in Bengaluru during the counting process have surfaced, triggering outrage among devotees.

In one video, purportedly from the Gaali Anjaneya Swamy Temple in Byatarayanapura, a man is seen standing near a table where bundles of currency are stacked. While temple authorities continue counting on the floor, the man quickly grabs a bundle and slips it into his pocket before walking away unnoticed.

Another video shows the same man stealing another bundle of cash and handing it over to a person believed to be a priest, identifiable by his attire.

In yet another video, a different man is seen openly carrying a wad of cash in his hand. He wanders around the temple premises before discreetly transferring the money into a carriage bag given to him by another individual. The bag is then passed on to a person sitting on a chair.

However, it was not immediately known whether the people involved were associated with the temple management.

While the exact date of the incident remains unclear, local authorities confirmed that a First Information Report (FIR) was filed in July based on the viral video. The police are currently investigating the matter to identify and apprehend the suspects involved in the theft.
