KT Rama Rao (KTR), the Working President of Telangana’s Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), has raised questions about the silence of the Congress and BJP over recent Enforcement Directorate (ED) raids at the residence of revenue minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy.

Speaking to the media, KTR asked, "Who is the ‘Big Brother’ protecting Congress leaders in Telangana from the ED?"

KTR pointed out that while Congress and BJP leaders often clash in Delhi, their behaviour in Telangana suggests a hidden alliance. "Despite ED raids on Congress leaders, BJP leaders have remained silent," KTR remarked. He urged both parties to explain why no action has been taken following these investigations.

He referred to two major incidents in Telangana. First, a raid on the residence of a prominent Congress minister, where hundreds of crores in cash were allegedly found. KTR noted that neither the Congress, BJP, nor the ED had made any public statement about the discovery.

Second, KTR highlighted a report linking ₹40 crore, connected to the Valmiki scam in Karnataka, to Telangana during the Parliamentary elections. Despite the gravity of these allegations, no arrests or formal investigations have been made, KTR said.

KTR suggested that this silence points to a political conspiracy. "The people deserve to know who is shielding Congress leaders from these investigations," he said, calling for transparency from both national parties.
