The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has extended the registration deadline for CLAT 2025. Originally scheduled to close on October 15, the registration window for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes has now been extended to October 22.

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has extended the registration deadline for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025. Initially set to close on October 15, the new deadline for CLAT 2025 registration, for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs, is now October 22.

Candidates can submit their applications for the law entrance exam on the official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in, until 11:59 pm on October 22.

CLAT 2025 is scheduled to be held on December 1.

CLAT 2025 REGISTRATION: HOW TO APPLY

1. Visit the official CLAT website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
2. On the homepage, click the 'Register' button at the bottom of the login window.
3. Provide the necessary details to register for the test. After registering, log in to your account.
4. Begin filling out the registration form with the required information.
5. Upload the necessary documents, including a recent front-facing photograph, your signature, and applicable certificates for SC, ST, OBC, PwD, or BPL categories. Ensure all documents are in PDF format.
6. Finally, submit the form and save the confirmation page for future reference.

The application fee for CLAT 2025 is Rs 4,000 for the general category and Rs 3,500 for SC, ST, PwD, and BPL candidates. Please note that the application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To be eligible for the undergraduate programme, candidates must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45 percent marks (40 percent for reserved categories). For the postgraduate program, applicants should hold an LLB degree with at least 50 percent marks (45 percent for reserved categories).

There is no age limit for either programme. Candidates appearing for their qualifying exams in March/April 2025 are also eligible to apply.
