Ground Report: Israel gears up for major offensive in south Lebanon

As Israel observes the one-year anniversary of Hamas attacks on October 7, the nation appears to be preparing for a major ground invasion in southern Lebanon.

India Today’s Ashraf Wani, reporting from the southern suburbs of Beirut, stated that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are preparing for a significant military operation in the area.

The attacks last year, which marked the beginning of the ongoing conflict, resulted in the deaths of around 1,200 people, mostly civilians, with 251 individuals taken hostage into Gaza.
