The exam conducting body, Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will soon release the NEET PG 2024 counselling schedule on the official website. Candidates who took the postgraduate medical entrance exam and are awaiting counselling can check the schedule on the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) website when it is available.

While registration for the first round of counselling opened on September 20, the detailed schedule is yet to be published. However, the official confirmation is still awaited.

Once the schedule is released, students will be able to log in to the MCC portal to choose their preferred colleges and courses as part of the NEET PG 2024 counselling process.

This year's NEET PG exam was conducted on August 11 across 416 centres in 170 cities, accommodating 228,540 candidates in two shifts—one from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the other from 3:30 pm to 7pm. Of those registered, 107,959 candidates attended the first shift, while 108,177 attended the second. Results were announced on August 23.

ABOUT NEET PG 2024 COUNSELLING STAGES

Based on previous years, NEET PG 2024 counselling is anticipated to include four stages: round 1, round 2, the mop-up round, and the AIQ stray vacancy round.
