Delhi University has initiated the UG Mop-Up Round 2024 to fill the remaining vacant seats in select programmes and colleges. Registration process is open till today, September 29, 2024 on the official admission portal.

The University of Delhi (DU) has initiated a mop-up round for undergraduate admissions to fill the remaining vacant seats in select programmes and colleges. The list of available seats was released on September 27, 2024, at 5 pm, and candidates can check the vacancies on the official DU admissions website, i.e., admissions.uod.ac.in.

The registration window for the DU UG mop-up round opened on September 27 at 5 pm and will close on September 29, 2024, at 11:59 pm.

Candidates can submit applications for available colleges and programmes between September 30 (5pm) and October 2, 2024 (11:59 pm). Colleges will make their selections and grant admissions between October 3 (2 pm) and October 5 (5 pm). The final deadline for fee payment is October 6, 2024, by 5 pm.

STEPS TO REGISTER FOR DU-UG MOP-UP ROUND 2024

  • Visit the official website at ugadmission.uod.ac.in/mopup
  • Click on "New Registration" available on the homepage
  • Complete your profile by entering the necessary details
  • Ensure all academic details
  • Select your preferred programs and colleges
  • Await approval from the selected college and proceed with fee payment to finalise your admission
  • Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.

DU MOP-UP ROUND REGISTRATION FEE

  • General/EWS/OBC-NCL: Rs 250
  • SC/ST/PwBD: Rs 100 Candidates who have previously registered through the CSAS portal do not need to pay the registration fee. For new registrations, the fee is non-refundable.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

As per the information available on the homepage, admissions will be based on the merit score of the qualifying examination, depending on program-specific eligibility criteria. Students who have not yet secured admission to any DU college or program are encouraged to apply through the mop-up admission portal.

The mop-up round offers a final opportunity for students who haven’t secured admission in the earlier rounds to fill the vacant seats across various undergraduate programs at DU.
