To accommodate participants of the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon, scheduled for Sunday at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, the Delhi Metro has announced an early start to its services. From 3:15 am to 4:00 am, trains will operate at 15-minute intervals, followed by 20-minute intervals until 6:00 am, after which the regular schedule will resume. This special arrangement aims to ensure that marathon participants and supporters can reach the venue on time, avoiding any last-minute rush.

To assist marathon attendees, volunteers will be stationed at various metro stations, providing guidance for a smooth transit experience. Additionally, marathon organisers are covering travel expenses for participants, offering complimentary metro rides during the early hours.

Participants can avail of this service by collecting special wristbands with QR codes, which will grant them free access to the metro. The wristband QR codes will serve as a pass for hassle-free travel.

The organisers have also emphasised that all relevant details and updates concerning the event, including metro service adjustments and wristband collection points, will be consistently shared on the official social media pages of the marathon.
