Deepak Gupta is the husband of Madhuri Grover's sister.

According to news agency ANI, Gupta is currently being kept at EOW Police Station and will be presented before the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) at Saket court soon.

Following the complaint, the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) registered an FIR in May 2023, naming Grover, Madhuri, and their family members in connection with the fraud case.
