Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday found one suspected improvised explosive device (IED) at Gharota area in Jammu district.

Soon after receiving the input, security forces along with the bomb disposal squad arrived at the scene.

An area domination patrol by the police and army discovered a suspicious object, potentially an explosive, on Ring Road in Gharota.

Authorities swiftly cordoned off the area, halting all traffic and diverting vehicles away from the site as a precaution. The Bomb Disposal Squad has been called in to assess and neutralise the threat.
