The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has sought the court's permission for the narco test of former RG Kar principal Sandip Ghosh in connection with the probe into Kolkata doctor's rape and murder case. The CBI has filed a plea in this regard in the Sealdah court.

Ghosh, along with Tala Police Station's Station House Officer Abhijit Mondal, was arrested by the CBI last week in connection with the rape and murder of the 31-year-old trainee doctor. Both were produced before a special court the following day, where the CBI sought their custody.
