At least three people were killed, and 15 others injured after a man went on a stabbing spree inside a Walmart store in Shanghai. The police have identified the suspect as a 37-year-old who came to the city to "vent his anger due to a personal financial dispute".
The incident on Monday night came on the eve of China's week-long National Day holiday, when tourism surges across the country.
The police confirmed on Tuesday that the suspect has been detained.
