Delhi gym owner murder: Madhur, also known as Mota Armaan, the main suspect in the murder of Afghan national Nadir Shah, was arrested late Saturday. The arrest occurred during a shootout with police in Narela, where Madhur was injured after exchanging gunfire. Investigations indicate that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang is involved in the murder, allegedly motivated by an extortion bid against a local businessman. A jailed gangster, Hashim Baba, has reportedly confessed that Bishnoi orchestrated the hit via internet calls while incarcerated in Sabarmati jail. He claimed Bishnoi instructed him to arrange for shooters and logistical support to eliminate Shah.

Meanwhile, a doctor alleged sexual harassment by the Medical Superintendent (MS) of a Delhi government hospital where she worked. The development has triggered a political row between the AAP and L-G VK Saxena’s office. AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh accused L-G VK Saxena of “protecting” the accused MS, adding that the female doctor went to meet the Health Secretary “several times” over the issue but he was “intentionally avoided”.
