WASHINGTON — Donald Trump’s unique “unpredictability” is a potential key to peace in Ukraine, former NATO boss Anders Fogh Rasmussen said Wednesday after the Republican’s sweeping U.S. election victory.

Another tactic Rasmussen said he expected could work — appealing to Trump's ego.

“We could use a combination of Trump's unpredictability with his desire to be a winner and make that a strong formula for promoting a peace process in Ukraine,” Rasmussen said in an interview, adding that he thinks Trump should “tell Putin to stop the war.”
