Uddhav Thackeray hospitalised: Ex-Maharashtra CM admitted to Mumbai's HN Reliance Hospital for angioplasty

Uddhav Thackeray had to undergo the procedure in a follow-up to the angioplasty which he had on July 20, 2012, when doctors had put in 8 stents to remove the constrictions for multiple blockages in three main arteries in his heart.

Shiv Sena (UBT) chief and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray was on Monday admitted to the Reliance Hospital in Mumbai for an angioplasty procedure. Notably, he is in the hospital from 8 am. Sources said that Uddhav Thackeray underwent angioplasty and hospital sources said Uddhav may stay in the hospital for one more day. He may be discharged tomorrow evening or the day after.

After angioplasty, Uddhav Thackeray's health is said to be stable and there is nothing to worry about and soon he will recover and return home and start campaigning for Maharashtra elections, sources said.

Earlier in 2014, Uddhav Thackeray was admitted to Lilavati Hospital, where an angioplasty was done on him. According to hospital sources, Uddhav Thackeray may stay in the hospital for one more day. He may be discharged tomorrow evening or the day after.

After angioplasty, Uddhav Thackeray's health is said to be good. There is nothing to worry about, and soon he will recover, return home, and start campaigning for the Maharashtra Assembly elections.
