A massive explosion occurred at Khadria, Ordnance Factory Khadaria (OFK) in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, killing two workers and seriously injuring nine others. The incident took place in the F-6 section where an aerial bomb exploded, causing extensive damage.

Building collapse and rescue efforts

Part of the building collapsed in the blast, and there are reports that many workers are still trapped under the rubble. The administration is carrying out rescue operations to identify and help those affected.

Hydraulic system malfunction caused the explosion

The blast reportedly occurred in Building 200 of the plant's F-6 division during the filling of the blast, an explosion caused by a fault in the water system that was so loud it could be heard five kilometers away. Residents near the factory initially thought it was an earthquake, causing many people to rush out of their homes. The factory’s general manager and officials arrived at the scene, but no official statement has been released.
