by Chris Edwards · NMEThe Sopranos star Drea de Matteo has revealed that she voted for Republican nominee Donald Trump in the US presidential election.
“Guess who we voted for?” The Emmy-winning actress said in an Instagram Story with her boyfriend, Michael Devin. “We voted for ourselves. We the people. You n me with the justice league in place to drain the fckn neocon/corporate swamp.”
De Matteo, who starred as Adriana La Cerva in the hit HBO series, said she voted for “big daddy,” Donald Trump, along with his vice-presidential candidate JD Vance.
In another story, the actress wore a T-shirt featuring the words “TRUMP 2024″ and “FUCK YOUR FEELINGS’. She urged her followers to “research your reality” and change their political perspective like their “life depends on it”.
On July 4, de Matteo stated that she was a “life-long progressive liberal,” adding that she’d be “damned if the hijacked blue or red party” put another “puppet in the blue seat to carry out the deep state agenda.”
She claimed that wealthy aging celebrities are “telling you guys to vote on social issues like abortion rights — these are not the matters at hand.”

“You vote for women’s rights while women’s sports is no longer theirs. You vote for my body my choice as long as it fits your narrative,” said de Matteo. “If we want true democracy, we must give decisions back to the states so we the people are actually involved in decision making.
“I’m coming at this as a woman, a mother, a pro-choice and a pro-life advocate. I’ve terminated pregnancies plus have two beautiful children. I challenge all women just this year to look beyond abortion rights.”
In September last year, the actress announced that she had joined OnlyFans to sell images and videos of herself because her views on the COVID-19 vaccine had cost her work.
