Breaking: Edo 2024: PDP wins last LGA + Results from 18 LGAs
by The Eagle Online · The Eagle OnlineThe Peoples Democratic Party has won the outstanding local government in Saturday’s Edo State governorship election as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The results from the Ikpoba-Okha LGA was announced on Sunday evening at the INEC headquarters in Benin City, Edo State.
The result showed that while PDP scored 26,382 votes, the All Progressives Congress was a distant second with 16,338 votes, while the Labour Party garnered 4,026 votes.

With the victory in Ikpoba-Okha LGA, the PDP won in seven out of the 18 LGAs in the state, while the APC took the remaining 11.
