Woman is raped outside Poundland as police arrest two men

Two men have been arrested after a woman was reportedly raped outside a Poundland in Crawley in the early hours of Saturday morning. 

Sussex Police said it responded to a report of a rape in Broadfield Barton, Crawley at 4am today. 

Two men aged 30 and 30 were arrested on suspicion of rape and remain in police custody. 

The victim was safely located and is being supported by a specialist team. 

Sussex Police has urged anyone who may have information about the alleged rape to report it.

Officers remained in a cordoned off area outside the shop this morning, according to local news outlet The Argus. 

Images show cops at the scene of the alleged crime this morning, with a police cordon placed outside Poundland. 

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: 'Anyone with any information about the incident, including any relevent CCTV, mobile or dash cam footage is urged to report it online or call 101, quoting serial 215/09'.
