by · Mail Online

This is the shocking moment a road rage row ended with a pedestrian being catapulted across the road by a motorcyclist.

The biker flees the scene in Crosslands Avenue, Southall, west London, after the harrowing incident.

Scotland Yard has opened an investigation and has launched a manhunt for the motorcyclist.

The horrific incident was captured on a car's dashcam with a timestamp on the footage suggesting it happened last Saturday at around 2.50pm.

The motorcyclist is seen weaving round corners in the residential area as the motorist follows closely behind honking the vehicle's horn.

The biker leads the car around the neighbourhood before circling an island in the road bordering two junctions.

Someone can be heard exiting the vehicle as the motorcyclist circles the island again before a man's voice is heard shouting: 'Stop, you b***ard.'

The door is then slammed shut and there is a pause before the biker is seen speeding by as a man's body is catapulted down the street in graphic and disturbing scenes.

The passenger crashes violently headfirst into a parked car, before the motorcyclist  flees the scene and leaves the man slumped in a heap on the floor.

His pal hurriedly unclips his seatbelt and gets out of the car as a passerby across the road jogs towards the man to help.

The harrowing footage was shared to social media yesterday with the caption: 'A motorcyclist tries to flee from a scene after hitting a car.

'The driver goes after him and when the passenger jumps out the motorcyclist flings him into another car and rides off.

'This happened in Southall, West London.'

Paramedics from London Ambulance Service (LAS) took the hurt man to a north London hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
